November 7-16th Student Council is hosting the Annual Turkey Trot Fundraiser and Food Drive. The goal is to collect $1,250 to purchase 500 Thanksgiving Dinners and donate 500 canned good items to the Hartland Food Pantry.
Student Council members are counting and updating the goal sheets in the cafeteria each day. There are also collection buckets placed around the building for students to add their non-perishable food donations; canned fruit and cereal are highly desired items!
In addition, students are coloring turkeys to hang in the lunchroom as reminders of the ongoing drive. Students who donate either non-perishable food items or money earn a sticker for their donation that they can wear for the day..
