Swallow School District Academic Programming
The Swallow School District provides comprehensive academic programming to meet the district’s mission that together we will inspire each other to achieve excellence as self-directed, problem-solving, responsible, lifelong learners. Through a rigorous process, each curricular and programmatic area is reviewed on a five year cycle to ensure programming continuously evolves to meet the ever-changing needs of students. The result of this process includes updating Curriculum Guides which reference academic standards used in the development of the district’s learning targets and curriculum.
The Swallow School District’s curriculum is based on the Wisconsin Academic Standards, ACT College and Career Readiness Standards, and relevant national and international standards. The district's Curriculum Guides for each subject area and grade level, with references to standards considered in the development of the curriculum, can be found below.
