After many years of teaching 7th and 8th grade Social Studies at Swallow, I am returning to my original role as the guidance counselor.
As the guidance counselor, I want to not only address the social and emotional learning for Swallow students, but I also want to help individual students with mental and behavioral health needs. Education faces many challenges this year and I look forward to being part of the support team that provides physical and psychological safety for all students and staff members. We need to work as a team more than ever to provide this type of school environment.
As a Wisconsin native, I attended Marquette University where I earned a Bachelor of Education degree in Elementary Education. Shortly after, I completed my Master’s Degree in Counseling at Marquette University as well. I am married and have three adult children that work in healthcare and IT.
