Nurse

Beth is a Registered Nurse who received her BSN from Marian University. Before coming to Swallow, Beth worked at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Cardiac Intensive Care Unit from 2006-2012. She is married and has two children, Hailey and Lucas.

When she is not at Swallow, Beth enjoys spending time with her family, tending to the family's small hobby farm (think honeybees, chickens, and maple syrup), and running. Beth has five half-marathons and one full marathon under her belt, with the hope to participate in many more.

I am excited to be back in a school setting and enjoy working with the Swallow family.

My life and work have provided me with the opportunity to experience many new places and people. After graduating from East Troy High School, I joined the U.S. Navy, and then became a Navy spouse. We were fortunate enough to live around the world, finally residing in Alaska.

Once settled in Alaska, I spent over 13 years working for the Anchorage School District. I began as a Library Aide, then Secretary, and finally spent 11 years as an Administrative Assistant in both elementary and secondary school settings. I gained a keen understanding of the multiple facets of working in a school office setting and loved getting to know talented individuals and awesome students. During this time, I also earned a B.A. in Business Management from the University of Alaska Anchorage.

Family recently brought me back to Wisconsin and keeps me entertained outside of work. I enjoy traveling, spending time in the outdoors, watching sporting events and keeping up with the many adventures of my 3 children and 7 grandchildren.

School Secretary

I'm excited to be back for my 10th year at Swallow. It is great to work with the students, parents and staff.

Several years ago, I described my life path as being on a river in a rowboat with no oars. Where the current takes me, I will go. Before coming to Swallow, I worked at Cygnus Business Media as an editor for law enforcement and agricultural trade publications. I then worked as a teller at Waukesha State Bank for 7 years. Having 2 children has shaped my life considerably. When I am not at Swallow, my family is involved in school activities and athletics, 4-H and church.
