Since 2018 when the referendum passed, volunteers and Swallow staff have been hard at work cataloging the myriad of trophies, former students' artwork, and curating the historical relics from Swallow's humble beginnings as they were compiled in the old attic and basement of the 1894 portion of the building. Because there are items too numerous to showcase as they are, they have been digitized to create wall displays in the lobby and halls of the building.  This approach allows current students to experience the excellence and achievements of 180 years of Swallow's history, including articles about student life through the decades, to serve as inspiration and a sense of pride and belonging in the future.  

Now that this digitization is complete, Swallow is pleased to host a Celebrate Swallow Event and Fundraiser on Friday, June 2 from 3:30 - 7:00 pm.  This event is open to the public and will feature:

• Tours of the school will be provided on the half hour.
• Get your piece of Swallow history! Purchase a brick from the 1894 building for $10!
• Donations of any amount will be taken for all artwork and athletic awards from years gone by
• Chick-Fil-A will be onsite with dinner available for purchase from 4 - 7 pm.

Donations and funds raised will offset the commemorations of this vast history as engaging spaces that honor our past and celebrate the present are finalized.

To keep costs down, this will be a cash/check only event.
