At their meeting on January 20, 2022, the Swallow School Board declared seats available in grades ________ for open enrollment students for the 2022-23 school year. Due to the statutory timeline for declaration of seats, parents are encouraged to apply for grade levels and programs where there are not initially seats declared as a waiting list is created and often space becomes available throughout the summer months.
The open enrollment program is a statewide program that allows students to attend a public school in a district other than the one in which they reside, if space is available. To be considered for open enrollment, parents/guardians must submit an application for the regular application period between February 7-April 29, 2022.
